Text match cut export troubleshooting
Find the stage that failed before starting over. Preparing a preview, encoding the video and downloading the finished file are separate steps; a working preview does not prove that your browser can export video.

1. The export button is disabled
If settings changed, select Update Animation and wait for the preview to become ready. The app blocks export of stale settings. Also check that your phrase is valid and a focus word is selected.
If the page reports no supported encoder, preview can still work while export stays disabled. Try an up-to-date browser on another device, and check the displayed Container and Codec fields. The app detects supported MP4 encoding first, then WebM; it cannot force a format your browser does not support.
2. Encoding stalls or fails
Keep the tab visible while encoding and avoid changing settings. Cancel the encode if it stops progressing, rebuild the preview, and retry with a shorter clip. Closing heavy tabs or trying another device can help isolate a device-resource issue.
Use a free template to check the local export path without starting an AI job. If AI backgrounds are still loading, resolve that generation first; a new paid generation is not an export troubleshooting step.
3. The file is missing or will not import
Encoding must finish before Download becomes available. Click Download and check your browser’s download list or the device’s chosen save location. Save the file before refreshing or closing the page: the prepared download belongs to the current tab.
If the file is WebM and your editor rejects it, use a trusted editor or converter that accepts WebM and can transcode to MP4. Renaming .webm to .mp4 does not convert the video. The generator does not include a file-conversion service.
For an import workflow, use the CapCut checklist. For stretched or cropped text, check the aspect-ratio guide.
4. The clip has no sound
Add Sound creates synthesized cut clicks, not music or narration. The sound effects guide covers preview, export and finishing audio in an editor. Turn it on before exporting and check the result’s audio status. If clicks fail, try a silent export to isolate audio support, then add audio in your editor.
